Rebranding Instructions (P20, P20 Pro, Mate RS)

FHP20Tool allows you to rebrand these models to other regional brandings.
FHP20SingleToDual allows you to rebrand a single-sim phone to a dual-sim one.

Warning: You can use this tool to rebrand CLT-L04 or EML-L04 models, but due to hardware differences it is not possible to enable dual sim on those models. Single sim to dual sim is only for CLT-L09 or EML-L09.

Warning: You will need to unlock your bootloader for this tool to work.

Warning: If you are rebranding Chinese to non-Chinese (AL00 to L29 for example) and your phone has a recent firmware installed, you should downgrade to a lower version before trying this. There is danger with recent firmware versions, going from Chinese to international. Contact us for details. If you proceed and render your phone inoperable without regarding this, it is your responsibility and we cannot refund your payment. Be careful!

Warning: Make sure we have available firmware for the model you are rebranding to before using.

Instructions:

  1. Buy credits. Make sure you have at least 7 credits in your account.
  2. Make sure your phone is in working condition.
  3. If you are on Windows 10, you might need this fix..
  4. Download FHP20Tool from here.
    OR
    Download FHP20SingleToDual from here. if you want to convert a single-sim P20 into a dual-sim P20 (Note: Bootloader will be locked and bootloader code will change after using single to dual tool.)
  5. Extract the ZIP file onto your computer's disk.
  6. Turn off your phone.
  7. While holding the volume down button on your phone, connect the USB cable from your phone to your computer.
  8. Open FHP20Tool.exe
  9. Make sure you have your phone's bootloader unlock code. If you don't have it, please get it. See here to get your code.
  10. Choose the model of phone you wish to rebrand to.
  11. Follow the instructions on the screen. When it asks you, reboot the phone without USB cable plugged in while holding Volume Up and look for the notification to connect your USB cable.
  12. After a short wait, your phone will be rebranded. Note that in About Phone, the correct information will not be displayed until you follow the next step...
  13. Now, follow the installation instructions to install firmware matching your new branding.
    It is very important to install a version which is not older than the current version. Installing an older version on top of a newer one can cause serious problems.
    14. You may need to install TWICE. Please use eRecovery method.
  14. You may see some errors upon boot asking you to do a data format and so on. Please do the data format.
  15. If your phone does not boot after the procedure, unplug the usb cable and boot your phone while holding Volume Up to get into recovery. Then choose wipe data, and choose wipe cache. Then your phone will boot.
